Shopping with Harrison-Bond:

We hope that your shopping experience on the Harrison-Bond.com website is both enjoyable and problem free. Should you be unable to find what you’re looking for, or have any issues with our Shopping Cart system, please let us know. Most of our designs are available to, ‘Add to basket’ , and to customise by selecting from a drop-down menu. Should you require any assistance, or to place a custom order, please use the ‘Contact‘ link, or email chris@harrison-bond.com. We also sell via our Etsy Shop where all our products are also available. If you find a product there that isn’t on the website, or vice versa, let us know and we can add it or create a custom order for you.

Payment:

We accept payment via PayPal’s secure website. Payments can be made with a credit/debit card without the need for a PayPal account. Once you have added everything you need to the shopping cart, go to the ‘Checkout’ to enter your delivery details. Payment will be taken via PayPal’s own secure server to protect your security and no payment details will be taken or stored by Harrison-Bond.

Direct Bank Transfers are also accepted in £GBP to our U.K. bank account. Cash on collection may be offered to local customers, please contact us beforehand. U.K. cheques are also accepted, but please note that this will add a considerable time to your order. Please contact us before ordering.

We also sell via our Etsy shop and accept Etsy Direct Checkout and gift vouchers.

Every design is handmade to order unless otherwise stated.

Shipping:

All items are carefully wrapped and gift-boxed or bagged prior to shipping. All our items are handmade to order so please allow 5-10 business days after payment for your chosen design to be made. If you require your order urgently please let us know before ordering and we will do our utmost to accommodate your time scale. We happily ship overseas to international customers worldwide.

Most items ship for free within the UK are posted using Royal Mail 1st Class. Some larger, heavier or valuable items will ship via a tracked service.

International (outside UK), shipping is generally via Royal Mail International Standard. This service is untracked to reduce the cost to our customers. Tracking can be included at an additional cost. Please contact us to arrange this prior to ordering. Larger/heavier/valuable items will have additional shipping costs to cover insurance and tracking.

Customs or import duties may be levied on international orders by the recipient country. We have no control over these charges or how long customs clearance may take. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you may wish to contact your local customs office for further information. I am not liable for any such import charges or delays due to customs policies.

Refunds & Exchanges:

As all designs are made to order, no returns or exchanges are offered or accepted. Your statutory rights are not affected and in the unlikely event that you should need to return a faulty item to us, please contact me before doing so: chris@harrison-bond.com

Custom Order Time-scales:

I love custom orders! If you can’t see the perfect design for you or a loved one then please get in touch and I would love to work with you to create your own unique piece.
We always aim to have custom designs made and shipped as quickly as our listed pieces, although this is not always possible due to the increased time required to ensure the design is exactly as you want it prior to creating it. You will always be advised of the current timing for personalised items at the time of ordering. At busy times of the year (Christmas, Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, etc.) I only have space for a limited number of custom orders so do get in touch early.

Copper Care:

If your purchase is made from solid copper. It has been cut, etched, stamped, textured, filed and polished by hand to create the finished design.

To give the item it’s rustic look, it may have been aged using a patina which darkens the piece and highlights the design etched/stamped into the copper. This patina has then been protected with a coat of renaissance wax to help preserve it.

Copper will naturally darken over time, and indeed patina naturally occurs with the ageing process. This process enhances the rich colour of the copper and it should not be cleaned with chemicals or abrasives. The natural handling of the piece and light buffing with a soft, dry cloth should be all that is needed to care for your item.

The only cleaning/protective product we recommend using on your copper design is renaissance wax. Of course, being solid metal, your design can be professionally stripped back to clean metal and fresh patina applied to return it to ‘as new’ condition, although it is the aged, rich, rustic appearance than is most appealing about this metal.
